How to fix Microsoft Installation Error 1713

The office is like a package of various useful tools which help to perform various tasks with ease. Uninstall Previous Office setup from your PC

If you get the error due to another Office plan then you have to uninstall the setup from your device. You should always remove the previous Office plan before installing the new one otherwise installation error will appear. Go to the Programs and Features and click on the Programs option. You will see a list of all the installed applications on your device. Go to the Office setup and right-click on it. Click on the Uninstall button. You may get a confirmation window on your screen. Click on the Confirm button and follow the on-screen commands. Once you uninstall the program then go to the C drive and check for remaining files. If you see any files related to your MS Office setup then remove it. After removing all the Office from your device, restart your device. Now try to install a new Office setup. Turn off your firewall

The installation process can interrupt due to your firewall. Sometimes the firewall inspects the file as suspicious and blocks the network. You can try disabling the firewall for installing Office on the PC. Go to Windows Defender and search for a firewall. Now check the status of your firewall. Now tap the Turn Off Windows Defender Firewall button and press the OK button.

Many people install personal antivirus on their devices for better security. Premium antivirus provides firewall and various other tools. If you have another antivirus program installed on your device then open its dashboard. Navigates to its firewall and toggle the switch to Off. Now install MS Office easily. Make sure to enable your firewall after installing the Office setup.

Remove programs from the system startup

There are various programs that can conflict with your Office installation process. Conflict errors mostly appear with third-party programs. This software runs in the background and creates conflict with other programs. Remove that software from the system startup and then try to install Office.

  1. Press the Windows key and R
  2. Run bar will appear
  3. Type MSConfig on the run bar
  4. Hit the OK button
  5. System configuration window will appear on the screen
  6. Hit the Selective Startup radio button
  7. Now uncheck the load startup items box
  8. Choose the Use original boot configuration option
  9. Select Load system services checkboxes
  10. Hit the Apply button
  11. Tap the OK button

Now click on the restart button for rebooting the PC. Now try to install MS Office on the PC.
